I looked at the calendar today and thought....goodness, next week is Halloween! And then, Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Where has this year gone?
You know, it seems like only yesterday, or last week, at least, that it was January 1, 2007. Now, before we know it, it will be January 1, 2008! And I just can't believe that the year is all but gone!
If I go back and think about it, I guess a lot of stuff has happened this year, but, it just seems like a blur. I remember watching the New Years Day bowl games, and I remember Valentines day. Saint Patricks day was a green one, and it was more than the color of the beer! The temps were warm, in February and part of March, and I remember my husband mowing the yard. Then April came, and snow and cold weather for Easter.
May usually brings flowers, and it did, but the leaves were slow to come back after the late April frost. Then, Memorial Day.
Seems like after that, I blinked and it was July, and Labor Day.
Now, here we are, with the Holiday season knocking at the door. I am not sure that I am ready to answer it. I am still basking in the glow of my Florida vacation. Up until yesterday, it was still almost summerlike. Today, it finally feels like fall, and actually looks like fall.
Wow! Next week is Halloween. And then, the holiday season...
